The project's aims are to strengthen the participating schools' international network and their co-operation on the development of new teaching materials and cross-curricular activities. All this to enhance their knowledge of our common world heritage and their appreciation of the world's natural and cultural diversity, and thereby placing them at the forefront of their educational agenda.
The project comprehensively covers a number of school subjects, and using the world heritage sites as a starting point pupils can work with the historical, social, religious and cultural aspects and such themes as local skills and economic development of the areas. And with a focus on both the past and present.
